Maher wants to be Mort Sahl, but A) He's not as smart as Mort was (almost nobody is) and B) More importantly, he's not as funny.

Unfortunately for them, if the facility meets whatever the zoning noise threshold is, there may not be much they can do.

We are all humans with our own perspectives and flaws. The problem I've had with both political parties (and commentators) but FAR more so on the Left is the unconditional acceptance or excuses they make for their own. Not saying it doesn't happen on the Right, but for example, if a Catholic priest is caught violating an altar boy, I don't think I've ever heard anyone on the Right excuse it or even put in a "however" comment. Such as, "however" not all priests are pedophiles. On the left if someone shoves a person in front of a subway train, or punches out an old Asian woman, the Left, and I mean even politicians and media professional/commentators will say, that's horrible, and wrong and they should be prosecuted, "HOWEVER" not all minorities behave that way, or "HOWEVER" we should be compassionate because we don't know their life experiences and should pause and not be overly judgmental. Sorry, NO! We should arrest them, hold them (for more than a few hours anyway) and THEN investigate what led to the crime. I've never heard anyone on the left say, well, the priest is sexually frustrated so...... what are ya gonna do? They were just acting up. I respect Bill and always thought he was a very smart and generally humorous guy. But when it comes to politics we all have our biases and he seems so lacking in self-awareness regarding his bias.
